10 TRACKS THAT SHAPED OUT THE FUTURE SOUND OF TDDUD from 2015-present day

Before the global pandemic nonsense ripped through every club floor tile and shiny disco ball of the electronic music scene, stripping us of our freedom of coming together and dancing to the future sounds and zappy neon lights of Death Disco, we decided to create this memorable list. Its a while back, but man was it nostalgic to do and like most things, we feel its unquestionably worth sharing. So, here’s our top 10 inspirational sonic weapons that shaped the musical vision for the uniqueness of the TDDUD sound from 2015 - up to the present day. Find a large glass, fill it, kill the lights and blast up the speakers and ENJOY!

ALI JAMIESON (Feat. Raff) - EVER AFTER LOVE (ITALO BRUTALO'S COSMIC DISCO)

Ever after love! What a sound, It was thanks to Matthew Orrell who first dropped this at one of our first parties in Nottingham at Bar 11, back in 2016. Full on pure power, proper electronic chugger!

TRONIK YOUTH - SUICIDE DOORS

When James Todd our musical genius co-pilot, introduced us to the ALFOS sound back in 2015 this stuck with us! Neil AKA Tronic Youth's Suicide Doors still screams future bomb today. The rolling pitched back arpeggio bass is a total masterpiece.

JESSIE WARE - NO TO LOVE (EWAN PEARSON MIX)

Cosmic sexual euphoric disconess! One of our favourite producers today, the Ewan Pearson remix of "No To Love 'is pure badass! Never lets us down, never ends or never tires or fails. It is a go to track for our signature DJ sets, still today.

LNTG - NO BODY

Distant memories in the garden area of DC10 spring to mind here. This super duper stripped back, looped up, proper disco builder is a firm favourite at TDDUD HQ!

LNTG delivers something very special that's stood the test of time.

DUB PISTOLS (PAUL DALEY VOCAL REMIX) -

SIX MILLION WAYS TO LIVE

Edgey, Punk and full on electronica, full of Arpeggio bass and hipno indie vocals, just how we like it!

RICH LANE - FLESH

When we first heard this record from the incredibly talented Rich Lane it was inevitable that we wanted to search out more and more of this sound.

Playing this at our first party at the Horse and Groom in London in 2016, was a totally incredible moment. With creeping retro synths and futuristic spoken word vocals, it's a perfect match for our unique sound and vision!

HARDWAY BROTHERS - IM A CLICHE EDIT

SERVICE 58

The Hardway Brothers leading the way with this divine piece of electronic music. Star Wars on cosmic acid! Into the future, LETS GO!

VISTI & MEYLAND - STARS (RODION & MAMMARELLA MIX)

Galloping chuggy bass and 90's pianos hooked us in! How can you even create this sound? Rodion & Mammarella changed the game here and showed us the way.

Light years ahead... Strap in cosmonauts!

LOVE SUBLIME - EWAN PEARSON REMIX

Vocals are so, so important when transcending through the night. When done right, it's the key to holding us all as one, lost, far out in the disco TONIGHT! Ewan Pearson does it again with yet another one of our top tracks, Love Sublime. Thank you for the magic Ewan, and our listeners we say 'Av some of that twinkle knickers!

BLUE NIGHT - TURN ME LOOSE (SIRS CUT)

Nobody does it like Weatherall. Sir Andrew brought us here! Although not his rework, the SIRS CUT was high on Andrews playlist. If it's good for the for the Guv - its good for us. Creeping and haunting guitar riffs with that 80's new wave flavour.
